- Test drove vehicle and inspected on hoist. Scanned for codes and found P1745- transmission line pressure too high for too long. Was unable to duplicate customer concern regarding overheating condition. Found coolant at normal level, and no evidence of coolant leaks at this time. Found coolant fans operating normally, and vehicle blew heat properly, indicating proper water pump operation. Possible intermittent electrical issue such as skewed sensor reading, if problem returns recommend further evaluation. During test drive heard what appeared to be worn front wheel bearings causing noise while driving. While on hoist found slight play in both front wheel bearings. Recommend front wheel bearing replacement.
- Reason for replacing during test drive we heard excessive roaring noise from front wheels then inspected on lift hoist to confirm.Replaced roaring noise is now gone.
