Test drove vehicle and did not hear any unusual noises. Inspected vehicle on hoist and did not find any obvious noise issues. Unable to duplicate customer concern at this time.
Inspected vehicle on hoist and found battery drained and unable to start vehicle. Charged battery and started vehicle and found charging system inop. Further diagnosis found the alternator faulty, and not properly charging the vehicle. Also after starting and charging system test found battery tested weak and due for replacement. Battery appears new, and was possibly damaged due to defective alternator. Recommend replacing battery and alternator and rechecking system operation.
ALTERNATOR ASSEMBLY – Remove & Replace – [Includes:Drain and refill Low Temperature Cooling System.] – [Includes: Test.]
Inspected vehicle on hoist and confirmed vent issue. Scanned hvac system using scan tool and found B0413- temp control 1 feedback circuit open. Gained access to driver side temp actuator and inspected circuits and connections and found no faults. Removed actuator and confirmed temp door is moving properly. Recommend temp actuator replacement, and recalibration of hvac system.
