  • After inspection found oil filter leaking from prior oil change near RF area. Recommend replacing engine oil and filter and cleaning off surrounding area. Found minor rubbing noise while turning steering wheel. Found rubber grommet between floorboard and steering shaft has swollen, causing noise. Lubricated area and found noise gone. If issue returns replacement of grommet will be required.
  • Changed Motor Oil & Replaced Filter, Added 5 QTS Synthetic Motor Oil, Lube Chassis, Check all Fluid Levels

  • Inspected vehicle on hoist and scanned for codes. Found P1217- engine over temp and P0171- engine lean condition. After inspection found vehicle low on coolant due to damaged radiator. Further inspection found a transmission mini dipstick in fan shroud that damaged the radiator when the radiator fan turned on causing the dipstick end to become a projectile, resulting in damage to radiator, causing leak. Transmission has what appears to be a newer dipstick installed. Customer states they had a oil change elsewhere recently. Possible dipstick was dropped and fell into fan shroud. Recommend radiator replacement, clearing codes, and rechecking vehicle operation.
