- Test drove and inspected vehicle. Scanned for codes and found p0128- coolant thermostat (below regulating temp). Inspected cooling system level and condition and found no faults. Cleared code and let vehicle run to normal operating temp while watching data with scan tool and the vehicle seemed to warm up normally within normal timeframe . This vehicle just had a t-stat installed at another shop. If this code returns we will have to start over with replacing the t-stat with a known quality part, as it is unknown if a quality, correct part has been installed. Also noticed the vehicle has a rough idle and a running problem that causes it to die out at times while at idle. Further diag would have to be performed to determine the cause.
