    • After test driving NO Engine light was present at that time we then scanned vehicle for possible codes and found two pending po497 and p145c evap system codes. We cleared and drove vehicle again and still no Engine light or codes. Customer advised we rec light to be on when testing Engine light concerns.

    • INSTALL REAR PADS / ROTORS
    • Remove Tire from Vehicle, Inspect & Repair as Nec. Found nothing stuck in tire we cleaned and sealed tire and Rim.

    • Test drove vehicle and inspected on hoist. Was unable to duplicate customer concern of clicking on turns while on test drive. Found the RF axle appeared to be worn out and had junk yard type markings on the axle. Recommend replacement of axle and recheck for clicking noises on turns.
    • Changed Motor Oil & Replaced Filter, Added 4 QTS Synthetic Motor Oil, Lube Chassis, Check all Fluid Levels
    • Rotate Tires
    • Test drove vehicle and inspected on hoist. Check engine light was not on at time of inspection. Scanned for codes and found P0014- exhaust camshaft position system performance. Inspected circuits and connections and found no faults. Inspected engine oil level and condition and found engine oil level was ok, was black in color and due for replacement. Tested and found proper power and grounds to camshaft actuator. Removed actuator and found debris on oil inlet screens. Recommend replacement of camshaft position actuator, changing engine oil and filter, clearing codes, and rechecking system operation.

    • Inspected vehicle on hoist and checked ac system pressure and found it much higher than spec. Recoved ac system charge and found it slightly below spec. Removed and inspected ac expansion valve as these are know to have issues and found minor debris inside. Replaced valve, charged system to spec and found ac system still had higher pressure than spec. Further inspection revealed a faulty low speed cooling fan that was inop at times causing only the high speed fans to operate. Replaced cooling fan assembly and now found the low speed cooling fans operational while ac is on, and system pressures back in spec.
    • Mounted onto firewall of vehicle.Had metal shavings inside valve after inspecting.
    • Service air conditioner. Check condition of all belts and lines. Evacuate and recharge with reclaimed R-134. Test system performance and add dye tracer for possible future leaks in system.
    • Confirmed customer complaint and gained access to ignition key cylinder/ ignition switch. Was able to tap on key cylinder and the chime would go away. Removed ignition key cylinder and found the chime would still go off at times. Further inspection revealed a worn out ignition switch which sits behind the key cylinder and was causing the chime. Replaced the ignition switch and found the chime now gone with the ignition key out.
    • IGNITION SWITCH- Remove & Replace
    • ELECTRIC FAN MOTOR – Remove & Replace
