  • Test drove vehicle and inspected on hoist. Scqnned for trouble codes and found P2127- throttle/pedal position sensor circuit low, and B1029- accelerator pedal sensor. Recorded and cleared codes and was unable to duplicate issue during numerous test drives. Wrench light never appeared, and vehicle did not set any pending codes. Searched for manufacturer technical service bulletins related to this issue and found one regarding this exact issue, and it references cutting and splicing together wires behind dashboard and cluster. If this issue continues recommend dealership for this procedure as this is a starting point to correcting this issue.

Inspected related fuses, electrical circuits and connections and found no obvious faults. Was unable to communicate with steering module. Found module had correct power and ground supply feeds. Appears module may be internally shorted. Recommend dealership for possible power steering module replacement and reprogramming.
  • AFTER TESTING BATTERY FOUND WEAK ALSO ORIGINAL FACTORY BATTERY.

  • Test drove vehicle and confirmed customer complaint. Inspected vehicle on hoist and was unable to reproduce the noise while running vehicle in the air. Removed rear brake calipers, rotors, and inspected parking brakes and found no issue. Backed off rear parking brakes and found the noise was still present on test drive. Possible issue in rear diff or transmission. Issue may have to get more pronounced in order to properly diag. Found when vehicle was cold noise issue was not present. These vibration/noise issues are usually a process of elimination.
