    • Test drove vehicle and did not experience any issues. Scanned vehicle for any related trouble codes and found none. Inspected vehicle on hoist and found no engine oil visable on dipstick, and oil change counter at 22% Further inspection found an original looking main and secondary battery. Main battery tested ok but due for charge. Secondary stop start battery tested weak. Recommend starting with replacing weak secondary battery, and correction low engine oil condition as a starting point.

    • Test drove vehicle and heard excess noise over bumps in front suspension. During inspection found both front link pins worn and due for replacement.

    • Road tested vehicle and inspected on hoist. Attempted to duplicate customer concern without success. Tested vehicle battery, starting and charging systems and found no faults. Scanned vehicle for trouble codes and found code# B10D7-87`- PATS key missing stored in body control module as a history code. As we are unable to reproduce the no start condition and the vehicle has a stored code related to ignition key, customer is advised to use another key and see if the problem returns as a starting point.

    • Inspected vehicle on hoist and found battery discharged and unable to accept a charge. Further inspection found a faulty alternator due to a leaking VVT solenoid which allowed oil to coat the alternator and cause malfunction. Recommend replacing leaking VVT oil solenoid, battery, alternator, and engine oil and filter. Topped off low PS fluid during service.
    • INSTALL CUST AUTOZONE BATTERY
    • FOUND ALTERNATOR BAD AFTER TESTING. REASON BEING IS FROM OIL LEAKING FROM TIMING SOLENOID ONTO ALTERNATOR CAUSING IT TO SHORT OUT FROM BEING WET WITH OIL. THIS IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY.
    • REMOVE BROKEN COVER
    • found leaking oil onto alternator and damaging alternator we installed.
