Services Performed
- Road tested vehicle multiple times and was unable to duplicate customer concern. Inspected vehicle on hoist and found front brake backing plates slightly bent and almost touching the brake rotors. This condition could cause a knocking noise on turns, especially when everything is heated up and expanded. Straightened backing plates best as possible away from rotors. Did not find any other obvious noise issues at this time.
- Test drove vehicle and did not hear any type of brake noise, but after driving vehicle until brakes were fully heated felt a brake pulsation in the steering wheel when applying brakes. Inspected brake system on hoist and found front rotors warped, along with sticking caliper sliding pins. Rear brakes appeared ok at this time. Recommend replacing front brake pads and rotors, lubricating caliper sliding pins, and rechecking vehicle operation.
- INSTALL FRT PADS / ROTORS
