- Road tested vehicle and scanned for codes. Found multiple codes including P0116- engine coolant temp sensor performance, P0118- ECT sensor circuit high voltage, P0119- ECT sensor circuit intermittent, P058B- battery sensor module current monitoring performance, P058D- battery sensor module voltage monitoring performance, and P305F- dual battery control module performance. After performing system diag including pressure testing cooling system found a worn thermostat, and a faulty and leaking coolant temp sensor. Also coolant appeared original. Recommend replacing thermostat, coolant temp sensor, and flushing out coolant. Afterwards clearing codes and rechecking system operation. While inspecting battery and terminal connections for any obvious cause of the battery system codes found a loose wire/connection at positive terminal that may have caused the battery system codes. Secured connection and cleared off those codes as well. If battery codes return further diag will be necessary.

- THERMOSTAT – Remove & Replace – 2.5L Eng
- Inspect hoses and clamps. Pressure test cooling system. Flush engine, radiator, and heater core in both directions. Bring antifreeze to -35 degrees. PH balance coolant to between 9.8 to 10.5. Check thermostat and electric cooling fan operation. Chec
