- Road tested vehicle and scanned for codes. Found P0101- mass airflow sensor circuit. Inspected related circuits and connections and found no faults. During research of this code/ issue found a manufacturer TSB regarding this exact problem. It suggested to remove and clean out the electronic throttle body, replace the existing pcv valve with a revised part from dealership, clearing codes, and performing a idle relearn procedure. It also stated that if after performing this procedure the code p0101 returns or persists then reprogramming/ reflashing the engine computer would be the next step. As a starting point we removed and cleaned the throttle body, replaced the pcv valve, cleared codes, and relearned the idle system. If issue returns the ecm will have to be reflashed with the latest revised software at a Nissan dealership.
