- Inspected vehicle and steering system on hoist and found the intermediate steering shaft had a frozen joint and was due for replacement. Also during inspection found the right front axle seal leaking and due for replacement. During seal replacement found excess oil inside PTU unit, which may indicate a worn seal between the trans assembly and the PTU which may require further seal replacement in the future.
- INSTALL INTERMEDIATE STEER SHAFT
- LEFT FRT OUTPUT SHAFT SEAL – Remove & Replace – Left
